A busy weekend is coming to a close! We had Rosey's confirmation this morning and some snow fun yesterday before it all melts away. Speedy made a checker set with wet snow and food coloring. This afternoon we had our first TOG end of unit celebration. If you are not familiar with TOG, they suggest having an end of unit celebration at the end of the 9 week unit study. Because of the busy weekend we had a simple one but it was nice nonetheless. We invited my aunt over for the celebration and the kids displayed all the things they worked on throughout the 9 weeks. Goosey said her favorite project was the bed and cardboard canoe while Speedy said his favorite was the book binding. We begin tomorrow with Unit 4 of TOG and begin to learn about Ben Franklin, the Revolutionary War, and the Constitution. In geography, we begin our travels to Europe!
