It has been another hectic week of activities and we are behind in school so we will have to play some catch up next week! Our highlight of the week was receiving our first package from our cultural exchange! The first package came from our friends in Canada! YAY!! We received a cool looking hat, some play money, a Canadian flag, some smoked salmon, some post cards, informational brochures, and some great information from our friends about their family and life in Canada!! We have been getting our packages ready and it has been a lot of fun trying to collect things that not only represent our state but also our country! We are having a lot of fun with this and it has been complementing our Map Travelers study! If you are interested in setting up an exchange, the Worldwide Culture Swap is what we used.
